Here are 6 of the best new films and series coming to Now TV in April 2020

We're all being told to stay indoors, and practise social distancing for the foreseeable future. Thankfully, there's plenty on the box to keep us entertained while we're not exploring the great outdoors. Here are the best looking new series and films coming to the streaming service in the month of April 2020: Save Me Too (Season 2) What is it? The Lennie James and Surranne Jones starring show returns for a second series. The first series saw James star as Nelson "Nelly" Rowe, a down-and-out whose life is turned upside down when Jody, the estranged daughter he fathered thirteen years ago, mysteriously disappears. In Season 2, Lesley Manville joins the cast as Nelly's world unravels; how far will he go to find his daughter? When can I watch it? 1 April Dynamo: Beyond Belief What is it? The Bradford magician fronts a new show which charts his road to recovery from a career-threatening illness brought on by Crohn’s disease. Beyond Belief will show how he learnt hundreds of new tricks while he was recovering from the illness in hospital. The illusionist, real name Steven Frayne, earned a reputation as Britain’s answer to the American star David Blaine, with a series of outlandish, televised stunts that saw him apparently defying gravity and sometimes death. When can I watch it? 9 April Spider-Man: Far From Home What is it? Far From Home takes place shortly after the events of Avengers Endgame, and catch up with Peter Parker - still saddened by the death of his mentor Tony Stark - who goes on a trip to Europe with his friends. But while abroad, he is recruited by Nick Fury to team up with Quentin Beck, who appeared out of a tear in the Multiverse caused by Thanos’s snap. Quentin will battle the Elementals - mysterious creatures (lifted from the comics) who have made their way to Earth, and have started wreaking havoc. When can I watch it? 11 April Run What is it? Produced by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, this dark new comedy-drama is written and created by Vicky Jones, Waller-Bridge’s long-term collaborator, who directed the original stage version of Fleabag. In Run, Ruby Richardson (Merritt Wever) and her ex Billy Johnson (Domhnall Gleeson) go on a cross country trip across America, fulfilling a mad pact they made 17 years ago. When can I watch it? 15 April Gangs of London What is it? A sort of modern-day Peaky Blinders, with elements of Succession and McMafia (but based on the 2006 video game of the same name), this explosive new drama tells of the international crime gangs running London’s underworld. The action kicks off with the murder of the patriarch of the gang that’s been bossing the capital for 20 years, Finn Wallace (Colm Meaney) leaving a power vacuum in the world’s most cosmopolitan city. Among those aiming to fill it is Finn’s son and heir, Sean (Joe Cole); directed by The Raid’s Gareth Evans. When can I watch it? 23 April Code 404 What is it? This new comedy stars Stephen Graham and Daniel Mays star as two Detective Inspectors – DI John Major (Mays) and DI Roy Carver (Graham) – who are the top crime-fighting duo in the Unit. But when an undercover sting goes horribly wrong, Major is gunned down on the job and killed. That's not a spoiler - it happens early on - and the comedy comes from the duo attempting to remain at the top of their game, despite one of them being dead. When can I watch it? April TBC
